Please Help Brian!
I am so glad to be able to write a few words about Brian Donegan, with whom I have recently had many enjoyable, informative, and enlightening phone conversations.
Although I have yet to actually meet Brian face to face, the person he is comes across very plainly to me in Iowa over the phone from more than a 1,000 miles away in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Clearly, this is a young man who has thought deeply on many topics, (political and otherwise) has well grounded opinions, and is at home in the oftentimes swirling current of grassroots politics.
Brian has proved himself a man of words and also of actions by forming his Can-Do Conservatives organization. This group, which is as yet in its fledgling stages, reaches out to others who have so-called disabilities and encourages them to live with a sense of self responsibilty.
As the founder of Can-Do Conservatives, Brian intends to challenge all legislators to value those among us who are disabled and also ensure that they are not further disabled by social programs which discourage independence. Towards this goal Brian plans eventually to have a website geared in part to action alerts that would be of particular interest to those with disabilities and their supporters.
We are all enthusiastically anticipating Brian's late September arrival here on Iowa soil to deliver a keynote speech at a very exciting fundraiser for gubernatiorial candidate Bob Vander Plaats. But first we have to get Brian to Iowa! A small contribution from you can help make that happen.
With wise planning and frugal spending, we believe Brian and his traveling companion John Jessup can make the round trip from Georgia to Des Moines on around five hundred dollars for the two of them.
So that is our goal we must reach. If you have five or so dollars to spare, consider supporting Brian in what is going to be the first of many succesful trips to promote conservative causes and candidates across the nation. To help Brian acheive this goal I will donate $1 for each person that donates at least $5 to Brian's cause (up to 50 people or $50).
Thanks for helping Brian!

Thanks For Stopping By & For Helping Out!
My name is Brian Donegan. I'm a legally blind Conservative wanting to make a difference. I am the founder and President of the Can-Do Conservatives of America - A grassroots organization I have formed to give the disabled a voice in the Conservative movement.
This September I will be making my first out-of-state trip on behalf of my organization. Along with meetings I will be throwing my support behind Steve Rathje for Congress (IA-2) and speaking on behalf of the Can-Do Conservatives in support of Bob Vander Plaats in Des Moines on September 18th (one day before my 27th Birthday). Â Thanks to a wonderful group of volunteers my trip will be relatively inexpensive but I am still in need of some assistance to cover my expenses (and that of my traveling companion, John Jessup). Afterwards I would love to take my important message to other locations across the country.Would you be willing to forgo a cup of coffee or brown bag it to lunch one day and instead donating $5 to help me make this and other trips possibile? Any funds not used for my Iowa trip will be spent on other similar trips around the country spreading my important message and helping strong conservative candidates.
Your help is most appreciated!
